The first time I photographed Magnus, he was the wunder kind who beat everyone at the national climbing championship. Infact, it wasn’t much of a contest. He was doing pull ups on a single finger. I wondered then what it was like to master something everyone in the room would envy you.

A former diplomat and his posse of bureaucrats, news desk reporters and an imaginary bunny put on a comedy show about crime and punishment. What are the limits of legislation in the "war on drugs"? Do opponents of surveillance have something to hide? No joke! It makes us laugh!
They guy on the rope, Eirik Bergesen, was posted in washington as a diplomat before being recruited as a writer for comedy television. The rest of the ensemble are former bureaucrats and media people. I have tried to emphasize the grey and tacit power those positions entail in the design. No crisp colors and reluctant heroes.
